I met him when he was touring with 30 Seconds to Mars about a month before their first album came out. I had never heard of the band and had no clue he was the singer. He didn't look like he did in his movies or in his pics with Cameron Diaz at the time. He did introduce himself as Jared but didn't mention his last name. After we talked for a few minutes, shook hands, and he walked away this group of screaming girls came over to me going the " OMG OMG OMG!!! Do you know who that was?!?!?!?" Lmao! I had no clue until they told me!

Yeah I like them too. They hadn't released their debut CD yet when I met him. They were on tour opening for Puddle of Mudd. I recognized him as the singer from the opening band when I was walking up to get a beer before Puddle of Mudd went on and introduced myself and told him I liked his band. He thanked me, shot the shit with me for a minute, and gave me a CD EP of a few of the songs that were going to be on their debut CD. Really cool guy. I think he appreciated I complimented his music and the band's talent and wasn't all OMG YOU'RE THE ACTOR JARED LETO WHO IS BANGING CAMERON DIAZ!!!! Lmao
