I did the same thing in whichever one of the three the tress started talking and walking. I was like 
lol
Really? You would have already seen the Nasgul (dark guys riding flying dragons) by that point. Plus the copious amounts of Froto going invisible with the ring. I'd have thought the talking tree would seem normal at that point.
Naw, I think it was the second one with the talking trees? It was my least favorite of the three and the tree thing cracked me up more than anything in those movies. Thought it was cheesey. Even more so than the fighting ghost warriors in the third one. I liked the third one the best out of the three.
You speak for the Catholic Church now? I know a lot of Catholics who were excited to see the movie, but most of them came away disappointed.

I knew christians who wanted to see it. But they were like your typical florida evangelicals or baptists.
I didn't know a lot of catholics looking forward to seeing it. I just attributed that to it being mostly old testament stuff, and the catholics I know look at the old testament as I do as mostly a collection of fables and shit. Most of my catholic friends don't believe or adhere to much of anything that isn't new testament but instead go along with established science.
