If you have high ceilings (10+ feet) and suggest you get something that is fairly tall with an organic (non-penis) shape. Think about the space you have and the person you are. You're not the "dinky little glass thing on a shelf next to some flowers" type of person. I would wait till you actually buy a place and then look where you would want something. Probably in a well lit area since it is glass. Then, have her make you something that she would think would fit the space. That way, you will have an original piece that is hers, but fits you.
