I used to fold for that other forum but stopped.

Is there any interest in forming a UF folding team?

huh, no kidding...very interesting
I prolly still have a couple boxes folding here and there but I pretty much burnt out on it a while ago...when I was doing it I was also the IT person for all the training labs here so I had like 70 computers running 24/7

for those who don't know what folding is ->http://folding.stanford.edu/
I was in the top 50 in the world at one point :)

What's funny is that for the last year or so people have for the most part stopped caring about folding, then the PS3 comes out and all the Sonidiots are all "FOLDING 4EVA!"

the stats the PS3s are putting up are pretty impressive actually...too bad it's such a lackluster gaming platform :fly:

You could run SETI too while you're at it.

seti has already done like 2-3 complete passes of the sky with 0 results...waste of time imo

There's a guy in our office who has more seniority than I, so all the computers are running his ID. I have to pass.

Once and done for you? I guess we should give up on that cure for cancer then.

Plus the likelyhood of finding any in so miniscule that it's almost not worth calculating. Finding a general cure for cancer I can actually see us doing in my lifetime however.
