I don't know how many people have heard of or listened to Trivium, but http://www.trivium.org/

Their latest album has the lead singer changing his voice and the main sound of the band to be a mix of old school Metallica and Iron Maiden. I am indifferent about it, but I am very surprised how different they sound compared to their early stuff.

Thoughts?

Seen them live twice. They arent anything special, but they do have a lot of marketing behind them. I'm ambivalent.
