well for cooking , gas = instant on electric = turn it on and wait 15 minutes for it to heat up
Dunno about the cost efficiencys of each tho

Gas usually is a little less, and it cooks nicer. Electric is more expensive to maintain if shit goes wrong, but you don't have to worry about that pesky "pilot light going out and shooting natural gas into a room" thing.

Gas is also great in a power outage.

Electric, if you have a flat surface, is easier to clean.

No, but the kitchen would look funny if there were no range in it.

Foreman > Coleman

It knocks out the fat! (It really does, it's kind of gross cleaning out the grease catchers)

for washing machines, maytag models are the way to go. my parents had theirs for 24 years before it finally died and was replaced with another maytag

ChikkenNoodul

I think either Maytag or Whirlpool makes the higher end Kenmore ones, but the mid-line ones are trash.

My Kenmore Elite dishwasher is great.

Aren't Maytag the people with the stupid ads with a repair guy who has nothing to do?

They need to get rid of those ads. Maybe hire the Emerald Nuts people. Now that's some good advertising.
