All new registrants should take a vow of lurking immediately and not stop until they are totally washed clean of Genmay's crappiness.

I like you prometheum so please do something more than use Genmay cliches and spam. Otherwise you will never get out of this thread.
Edit: Take a hint from my interweb daughter's (augusttremulous) thread.

well i guess you guys want some content
I'm 23, live in anchorage, AK; originally from Dallas, TX, thats what i call home. I'm work in the US Air Force as an F-15E avionics technician, been in for almost 3 years...3 years exactly on October 7. Its been a fast 3 years too, and met some of my best friends, we travelled to Korea, Guam, Japan, and Vegas together, shared a tent for 4 1/2 months in Korea together, carried each other out of bars when we were too drunk to walk; I think you will have a hard time finding a brotherhood stronger than that shared among deployed aircraft maintainers. Although not the highest paying job I've ever had, this is probably the best job I've ever had and among the best experiences of my life, especially when i got a chance to ride in the back seat of an F-15 2 months ago. I will certainly miss his job when i get out, but there are bigger and better things out there for me.
Current goals are to finish my degree in aerospace engineering while i'm in the military and uncle sam will pay for 100% of it, and would like to end up working for a defense contractor (boeing, raytheon, lockheed martin...etc) or perhaps some government job that will let me keep all the govt benefits while not having to deal with all the bullshit the military makes me put up with.
I just started working again, (the air force gives you free time off after a deployment) and things have changed a lot from before I left. The spot where i used to work is now being torn down to make room for an F-22 squadron so now we are working out of trailors...we don't even have a hanger assinged to us.
Books: I enjoy reading a lot (easiest way to stay out of trouble while deployed) just finished Atlas Shrugged, Ayn rand is one of my favorite writers. supposedly will be a movie in 2008. favorite book would probably be Jack Kerouac's On the Road, i think its supposed to be a movie too.
Music: pretty much anythig that falls under the rock catagory, led zeppelin's houses of the holy is currently the cd in my car, currently playing on my computer is sublime's best of cd.
other hobbies:
cars: own a wr blue (is there any other color for this car) 2003 wrx, td05h-16g turbo, sti pinks, vishnu full turbo back exhuast, UTEC engine management
photography canon g5, would really like to get a nikon d50
travelling aside from all the places i mentioned i've been to england, france, germany, italy, vietnam (vietnamese) would like to revisit england, cambodia, russia (cold war really interests me) revisit germany, visit all 50 states
hope thats what you want, because thats what i've got to offer! would love to stay and chat, but i've got a friend to drop off at the airport

26 years? thats too long for me. rode on a c-141 the way to korea, wasn't configured for passengers either, so we had to sit on jumpseats and cargo nets the entire 9 hour flight.

it wasn't a bad flight....cold as fuck when we got up though; we landed in japan where they let the jet cook in the blistering summer heat and humidity for 3 hours while they refueled the jet, so we were sweating our asses when we boarded again until they cranked the motors

Standing next to me in this lonely crowd,
Is a man who swears he's not to blame.
All day long I hear him shout so loud,
Crying out that he was framed.
I see my light come shining
From the west unto the east.
Any day now, any day now,
He shall be released.
