I'm compiling a list of BF2 players from here to make it easier to coordinate with everyone.

Easiest way I founf to list them was on the leaderboard.

If you can play Source, you can play Bf2. My computer is just at the requirements for BF2 and I have no problems playing.

It takes me about 20 minutes to load up a map which means all vehicles/planes are taken and I have to wait another 10 minutes. Then for the next 10 minutes once I get into a vehicle it lags so much that all I can do is crash. By this time I have about 5 minutes left of game play and it just annoy's the hell outta me. CSS loads up in under a minute even when switching to new maps and the only time it lags is when I am playing a gun mod and it is almost unnoticable

Looks like we finally get a new US v. MEC urban map.

1.4 patch in beta testing phase.

You need way more RAM and updated vid drivers, or a new vid card altogether. You should be running a gig minimum, with 1.5 - 2 suggested. I can't wait until I build a PC. It will be like a whole new game.

Ever have one of those nights where you just can't seem to do anything right? That was me last night. I'd spawn into an arty strike, hop into a vehicle and get bombed by a plane, spawn and get shot in the face, join a server right before it got reset, etc....over and over and over. playing commander is fun. cartillery FTW! the 2x command bonus is also a nice incentive to win...though it's disappointing that the war college ribbon no longer requires a good win/loss ratio

Be careful. Some servers are starting to kick commanders who do that. That being said, it's always fun to launch an artillery strike, then drop a vehicle on a tank taking it down to 25% health then when the arty strike lands it kills the tank. :D

Yeah I've been kicked before because my team caught all the points and I arty'd just outside the entrance to their uncap base. What did they expect me to do, go get a soda since there was nothing left for me to do?

My old CS Clan does that all the time. I was a pilot for an attempt at one of those but I was taking heavy AA Fire so I ended up flying low and capturing the other team's main base before 2 clicks had even gone off the score. We did this and then I see fly type out:

Guess I shouldn't tell you that I watched you attempt to launch a couple of rockets at a tank while deciding whether or not to knife you or use the Sniper Rifle at approximatly 10 feet in distance. I opted to shoot. You had a booger in your nose BTW. (yes I did kill you)

Oooooh, now I remember that. I was lying by the cliff. I didn't know that was you. I didn't see the name of who it was. That's funny. I saw you lie down and zero in on me, and thought "Well, so much for that." I had already been sniped once and had about 1 bar of health left. There was nothing I could do. :fly:

:lol: You didn't get the worst of me that night though. I was up in the crane (same map) and just as a guy was about to capture the construction site flag, I shot him. Then two of his buddies came by and I dropped a nade from the top of the crane. First one bounced completely off so I threw another one and it stuck. Never saw guys fly that far apart from each other like that without an arty strike :fly:
