Yup that is after burning for 4 or so hours. No accelerants added. You can see "The road" too, since fly kept asking for pics. That entire area is under the water table, like most of the forest behind my house. We probably have another 10-13 cubic yards of woody plants waiting to be burned.

Normally with that much wood we add like a gallon of motor oil to help it get started.

Yeah, but it can be extremely entertaining to watch the flame reach towards the sky while the poor, dunken bastard who was suckered into lighting it run away while clutching his singed eyebrows.

Yup. Or filling old tires with used motor oil. You usually hold it there for a couple seconds... nothing doing. Then *BOOM* and the entire thing explodes into flame.
