View Full Version : M$ offers Virtual Server 2005 for free!
This is some pretty damn slick software and now they offer it free for some reason. FYI for you nerds who want to try out Linux/OSX/Win3.11 on your machine...

I'm guessing M$ is scrambling cuz they dropped the ball on that one, VMWare is experiencing explosive growth that they can't quite keep up with yet :fly:
We're replacing most wintel servers with VMWare clusters right now, and that should say a LOT

Damn, beat to it again...
Anyhoo, here's the skinny from MS themselves, http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserversystem/virtualserver/default.mspx.
We started virtualization here about 2 years ago, VMWare was the shizzle. Over time we have begun a migration over to the Microsoft Platform simply because VMWare's ideas surrounding P2V migration kind of sucks...
We run a shitload of VMWare on the mainframe. Emulating Linux. :tard:
