Stolen from another board:

What will people think of next? This website is kinda morbid, but SFW. I scrolled through the pics and the two that really stuck with me were the suicides. Both were teenagers, both warned of exactly what they planned to do on myspace in their last blogs. In many of these listings you can still access their last blogs; it's creepy.

Reality check: A huge percentage of these people were killed by car accidents.

2 points for the reverend for good internet reference.

So instead of saying rock music and video games made them kill themselves they are going to say blogs and myspace made them do it. A few of the bad pages on myspace has almost made me croak too.

I thought about posting this a while back, but never got around to it.

The one girl whose cause of death is listed as "rough sex" is by far the best.

It's also amusing to see the high number of people on myspace who are shot while doing something (usually) stupid.

Teenagers killed in car accidents.... unpossible!

During the last two years of my High School career there were 4 student deaths, all due to car wrecks.

There's been a few here in MA recently, so some stellar genius in the Legislature is proposing a bill to change the driving age to 18

I'm sad that we didn't get to her first, she would've been a fine asset to the forums, in all respects.

Hence the disclaimer. Excuse the pun, but it's like a train wreck; once you open it you can't stop reading.

I think the saddest of all was the 17 year old kid that posted his address and asked that someone call the police and tell them he would be in the back bathroom and that he was "sorry."

Probably not surprising to anyone, but my stance on suicide inspires to think otherwise.

first yahoo and now myspace...death follows those who are young and dumb and in need of a venue.

Now that I'm older I'm all for raising the driving age. Less idiots in front of me in traffic.

Meh, normally teenagers aren't driving during the commute around here and they're somewhat predictable yet twitchy even when I encounter them

My problem are the people who have been driving for years that have 'forgotten' all the basic skills, like not tapping the brakes, using turn signals, looking before they change lanes, just have a thing against motorcycles, etc.

Speaking of Ambien, I heard some funny stories on the MJ Morining Show about people who have taken it. To stick with the rules, I'll repost in another thread.

You are a brave man to ride a motorcycle. I don't doubt my skills but the other people driving on the road scare me. A friend of mine had some soccer mom in a minivan not look and drove right into him and broke both of his legs and really messed him up for a few months.

I think it helps that I'm overly cynical, I don't have to put any work into assuming that everyone else on the road drives worse than a Korean girl with 10/20 vision and the latest Hello Kitty cellphone in hand

im just glad that someone I know is not on there as she did have a myspace page. I know what they are saying that its a memorial, but its up to the people who know the person who is dead to do it and not whats basically is a tabloid.

it dosn't matter. Most of the problems are experience the other is just dumbasses behind the wheel which can be at any age. My friend was killed by a wreckless driveing 18 year old.
