If you have to fart do it as your getting off right before the door closes so no one can escape.

i make it a point to close the elevator as quickly as possible after i get on, especially if someone else is coming too :fly:
elevator etiquette cracks me up. I've always wanted a psychologist to do a study to determine what kind of people choose to stand where in an empty elevator and how they react when others get on.
The unwritten rules are hilarious.
* whenever possible, you must stand next to a wall
* when a wall spot opens, it must be filled immediately
* 3 people are on the elevator: the person on the right exits the elevator, the person in the center must move to the wall furthest from the other occupant
crazy stuff
edit: *You must ALWAYS face forward

I don't like people, I'd rather take the stairs if possible

If someone got off I don't see why its a problem that she got on...

Courtesy is to wait until EVERYONE gets off that needs to, before getting on

because she shoved her way through more people trying to get off while she was getting on

Ahh, I see. I did not realize that from the post. I guess I don't ride elevators enough to know such things. Forgive me for living in such a backwoods part of the country.
